Planet Em is a concept album. This is the story of a man named Icon. He is born into a dark and bleak world devoid of sound. He realizes he has a unique gift of producing sound and ultimately to change his world. He forges his gift and is worshiped like a God. Relishing his power, he starts to feel lonely and isolated. Icon starts to give in to the dark side of his ego and is corrupted by the self-serving pleasure ultimate power can give. An epic battle between his good and evil egos ensues. He emerges from the battle victorious having come to a perfect balance of his egos. Icon leads the people into a new era of prosperity and light.
