"Its" is a collection of unique and experimental compositions for the guitar. The music on this album was written exclusively using extended techniques on mostly prepared guitars. Some of the techniques include playing as a drum, with wooden skewers, a drill, marbles, 7" nail, and power tubes. Specific techniques for each piece are listed on the separate track pages. The music ranges from glassy, mysterious soundscapes to metallic jungle imagery and modern-primitive, organic percussive rhythms.

I wanted to make an album of guitar music in a way that I've never done. "Its" was very challenging to make because of the parameters I established for this album. First, do not play the guitar in the traditional way of playing the instrument. Second, limit the use of processed and synthesized sounds. Lastly, to make each piece unique to itself. I had a lot of fun and extended my boundaries making this album.
